Decor only, and we keep to it: there will be no plastering, electrical work or any structural alterations. If a wall needs any of that first, it is a job for another trade, done before we arrive.

- The size of the wallWidth and heightA standard wall behind a sofa is one job. A double-height stairwell wall is a different one, mostly because of how you reach it.
- Condition of the wallPrep neededSound plaster is quick work. A wall patched before needs filling, sanding and priming, and that takes the time.
- Colour depth and sheenCoats and primerDeep colours take more coats, and some finishes need a specific primer beneath, which is settled once samples are up.
